Experience – Speaks

Yes, I know. I am more actively face booking than blogging. But at times the 420 character limit at a time doesn't help verbose expressions. So here I come back again to good old blogging.

It’s more than 1.1 years in Singapore. Even though the experiences and life in general leads me to question and even decide against such a path, which is definitely difficult, but it’s all well worth it. Turning back, in this one year, the moments, the memories, the sorrow, the happiness, the excitement, the success, the failure everything has shaped, moulded be a lot and will continue to. It was August 15, 2010, 8: 10 AM, I landed in Singapore, and the moment I stepped here, I thought the life to be led is going to be full of responsibilities. I even thought of what will I be doing, where am I going to be, the very next year same day, same time.

The answer was not too far. This past year has been incredible. It has earned for me the best treasures in my life. The list includes the addition of members to my beloved family circle, priceless valuable friends, a master’s degree, a research job, experience of touring 3 different countries and islands and much more. Each august 15, this past two years have been an unforgettable day in my life. Yes! I joined my job officially on August 15, 2011, 8:00 AM (10 minutes earlier actually!!).

The most surprising element of this year was my birthday. For each of my birthdays I have had surprises, enjoyments, each in a different way. But this was the grandest birthday I have ever celebrated in my life. With my ever best friends with me, though my parents were not around I had 4 families with me to bless me that night. And the grandest part comes here. Yup! It was in a cruise. Crazy stuffs. 2 big cakes, one only to smear on the faces and the other only to eat, bowling, snooker, night games,,awww that was a complete delightful fun package.

Walking across, meeting various people, an international atmosphere, it’s been enlightening. It’s true when they say you learn a lot when you travel. And you probably learn a lot more when you talk to people.

Sitting in India, I have had this glorified view of women in western countries that they have it all figured out, all worked out and everything is easy as, to us, thousands of miles away; the west is made of so many progressive countries. But for the first time, I am experiencing things that is challenging, equally exciting.

Oh Yeah!! The next year, I really know it. Its going be freaking awesome, the most exciting year of my first quarter in my life. Moving ahead in my career, the countries to be visited starting with the first planned trip this November to Hong Kong, my marriage, and what not? What more?
Cya soon on my next post in the blog, probably should be the Hong Kong experiences. The world is as small or as big as we want it to be.
